Getting to know you...

Or rather getting to know you and your property. The first meeting with Blue Heron Landscape Design is free of charge and without obligation to you. The purpose of this meeting is for us to meet you and take a tour of your property. At this meeting we will talk about the possibilities and the challenges, posed by your site. You should be prepared to discuss your needs and goals, and what size budget you would like to work with. We will suggest design possibilities, plant material, and offer general advice as to the unique conditions of your site. This meeting will last about an hour.

On we go!

After having discussed your property, your budget, and our ideas, and both parties are comfortable, we will begin the design process.  The first step is a comprehensive site analysis, which will provide us with the information needed to develop a proposal for your garden. When you have given approval to our concept, we will begin the master plan for your garden.

Here is where the fun begins!

We will pick out plant material, paving material, garden structures, fencing, and whatever else will comprise your garden. We will select locations, define areas, and your garden will begin to come to life.

The garden realized.

With plan in hand and the plants and hardscape material chosen, we will take your new garden from concept to completion. Blue Heron Landscape Design offers the complete installation of your new garden. Together with some of the best contractors and artisans in the area we will bring each part of your garden to life.

The garden grows.

Now, and as your newly completed garden begins to grow and mature, Blue Heron Landscape Design will be there to provide you with a maintenance program designed to nurture your garden and fit your budget. Specially tailored maintenance plans may include, pruning, mulching, weeding, seasonal plantings, or sprucing up for special events. We also are happy to coordinate mowing and fertilization services for you.
